One of Esme’s favourite words (complete with top pulled up and enthusiastic patting) is "Bellee!!!!" and having sidestepped the obligatory bump shots for 37 weeks I thought it was probably time.
I'm not averse to bump shots, but I have felt quite ambivalent towards them this time round, mainly because it’s quite hard to connect them with my day to day experience of being pregnant.
This is probably the last time I will get to look down and see my body busting a groove with no input from me whatsoever, and that is the view I will miss.
So here is my full term belly … from my perspective.
